Guests at the 2022 Shine fundraiser, an April 1 benefit for Hope Kids Care and Hope Hospice, will enjoy a specialty signature drink curated specifically for the event by Busey Bank. One of the top sponsors and the happy hour host for Shine, Busey Bank created the drink through a signature cocktail competition comprised of employees competing for the top distinction.
The cocktail, “Shine Through the Galaxy”, made with citron absolute vodka, blue curacao, a splash of grenadine, and Sprite was selected as the winner by a panel of local bartenders. A lime and blackberry garnish topped off the cocktail along with a few edible stars.
Funds raised from Shine will help Hope continue providing care for all who are seriously ill or grieving, and for children living with complex medical conditions and their families. Each year, Hope provides more than $4 million of unfunded care to ensure that all who need their help can find comfort, dignity, and hope.
Tickets are available for purchase at $150 per person; table sponsorships for eight are available at $1,600. Guests will enjoy riverside dining, entertainment, and a live auction.
