Signature Hope fundraiser set to ‘Shine’ in 2021

Save Oct. 15 for elegant outdoor event at Edison & Ford Winter Estates

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Feb. 19, 2021) – The second annual Shine fundraiser for Hope Hospice is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 15 at 5 p.m. at the historic Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers.

The elegant outdoor event will feature riverside cocktails, dining, entertainment, and a live auction to support Hope’s mission of providing comforting care to everyone living with serious illness. Shine will be hosted safely, with the appropriate recommended measures in place, to ensure the well-being of all guests.

State Representative Jenna Persons-Mulicka and former State Senator Lizbeth Benacquisto will return for a second year to serve as the fundraiser’s chairs. More than 250 guests attended the inaugural Shine event in 2019, which raised $440,000 to benefit Hope.

“For forty years, Hope has been a comforting safety net for all in our community,” said Samira K. Beckwith, president and CEO of Hope Healthcare. “Now more than ever, we rely upon the support of our donors – along with the guests and sponsors of events like Shine – to help ensure there will always be Hope for those who need us.”
